STRICS does not receive your API key, prompts, lyrics, or generated tracks. They stay local or go directly from your iPhone to Google when you ask.
Who we are and what this covers
99Music is provided by STRICS IT GmbH, Florian-Gmainer-Strasse 4, 4240 Freistadt, Austria. This policy covers the 99Music iPhone app, its product pages on 99hq.dev, and support for the app.
99Music has no STRICS account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cloud music library. The app is a bring-your-own-key client: it connects directly to Google with the Google Gemini API key you provide.
What stays on your iPhone
Your Google API key is stored in the iOS Keychain. Music files, prompts, lyrics, generated titles and genres, playback state, generation history, and model preferences are stored locally in the app container. STRICS does not receive a copy of this content from the app.
You decide when to export or share a track through the iOS share sheet or Files picker. Those destinations then handle the file under their own settings and policies.
Requests sent to Google
When you generate music, refine a prompt, create lyrics, or request track metadata, the app sends the relevant prompt, lyrics, settings, and your API key directly to the Google Gemini API over encrypted HTTPS. Music generation uses Google Lyria. 99Music requests the Interactions API with storage disabled for each request.
Google can associate API use, quotas, and charges with the Google Cloud project behind your key. Google may also process request metadata and content for service delivery, security, abuse prevention, logging, or product improvement depending on your billing tier, region, project settings, and Google terms. Paid and unpaid Gemini services have different data-use rules. Review your AI Studio settings and Google's current Gemini API terms before submitting confidential or personal information.
App Store purchase, website, and support
Apple processes the one-time App Store purchase and provides STRICS with ordinary App Store sales and financial reporting. STRICS does not receive your full payment-card details. The purchase price does not include Google API usage or Google credits.
Vercel hosts 99hq.dev and may process ordinary web request data such as IP address, user agent, requested page, time, and technical logs for delivery and security. If you email support, STRICS receives the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Never send an API key in a support message.
Retention, deletion, and security
Delete a track in 99Music to remove its local library record and audio file. Use the saved-key menu in Settings to remove the Keychain copy. Removing the app deletes its app-container data, but iOS Keychain items can survive an uninstall until you remove the key in the app or the operating system removes it.
99Music uses iOS data protection, Keychain storage, encrypted transport, storage-disabled API requests, and local-only history. No system is completely secure, so protect your device and restrict or rotate the Google key if you suspect exposure.
Your choices and rights
Because STRICS does not run an app account or receive your local generations, most app data can only be managed on your device. For support data that STRICS holds, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable by emailing hello@strics.at.
You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at or another competent supervisory authority. Google and Apple are separately responsible for data they process under their services.
Age and policy changes
Google's Gemini API terms require users to be at least 18 and place additional limits on API clients. 99Music is therefore intended for adults who are permitted to use the Gemini API in their region and project tier.
We may update this policy when the app, provider rules, or law changes. The current version and effective date remain published here.
